Loving those photos Signal! Awesome as always.
Plus you've made me wish I was doing this degree in St. John's again. Freddy is nice but it doesn't have the character or identity of St. John's. It's a nice city, but I feel like I'm in a little forest village half the time. This is my first time living away from the coast and I've never felt so closed off from the world in my life. It's weird. I'd never last on the prairies. haha I miss being able to walk down Duckworth and Water Streets on a study break... |
:haha: Forest village. That's awesome.
Yeah, I found the prairies really rough as well. I've certainly made no secret of that. Maybe take the train somewhere cooler like Halifax for a weekend? |

I'd also like to take a train to Halifax, just for the sake of taking a train, but I'd have to drive down to Moncton first and then it's just as well to keep driving. |
I did a new and unusual photo thread of St. John's in My City Photos, which can be found Here

Here are two more photos I took in St. John's recently, both are non typical views.

I will be going to St. John's for the first time on Monday through work for a week! I'm so excited. You will see some picks of your awesome city through a New Brunswickers eyes.
|
Awesome. If you want us to get together with you for a few drinks some evening, just say so or post in the Forum Meets thread!

The last day of 2013, in the first North American city to see 2014. ;-)
While our total snowfall thus far this winter hasn't come close to breaking any records, our total snowfall accumulation on the ground is the most it has been since 1946. http://www.signalhillhikerphotograph...8_edited-L.jpg http://www.signalhillhikerphotograph...6_edited-L.jpg http://www.signalhillhikerphotograph...3_edited-L.jpg http://www.signalhillhikerphotograph...7_edited-L.jpg http://www.signalhillhikerphotograph...5_edited-L.jpg http://www.signalhillhikerphotograph...5_edited-L.jpg |
