When you find a certain building you want to draw, please inform me if you need any other images.

I'll do ATA Plaza(there are good renderings to go from, and I will also tackle the international trade plaza if you can get a better rendering than the crappy one on emporis.

It may be a little while before i can get around to finishing them.

Thanks Pandemonious! :)

I guess you have the renderings but just to be sure,

I started a diagram for ATA Plaza...

For ATA Plaza, I don't buy that that spire is only 5.55 m/18.2 ft
tall..

Just look at the elevation drawing. It looks well over 30 feet.

I know you said you got the info from an engineer, but just compare the spire to the heights of the floors.

Thank you very much, Pandemonious!!! ;)

It looks good :)

Though tower is thicker. Up to the copy of project I have, thickness of the tower is around 27 m, 27 pixels.

Highest part of lowrise shopping centre is 24.3 m, which should be almost 24 pixels.

Don't count the white part as spire. It is not, there are two floors inside it.

Can he show me some, too? lol My drawing style has gotten really stale. I think I'm one of the only ones that doesn't use layers to draw. I find it far too confusing and time consuming.

BTW, great drawing, Tony.

Don't ask him for help then. ;)

He showed me some cool layering on how he uses them. It was very helpful. Helps a lot with window shades and balcony shadows.

I just got your mail Taylor. Are there any pictures of the base of Çankaya Hotel?

Virtue
Dec 19, 2005, 12:51 AM
Glad to hear you are interested in Çankaya Hotel, Jai-C. :)

Unfortunately Hotel's base is under re-construction, so it is quite in bad condition.

Best photo I have is the one I took few months ago. I guess there is no change because construction is going very slow due to owner's financial problem.

You know that is not allowed, don't you? You can't cut and past and resize photos (or even parts of photos) to make drawings.

Taylordaman
Dec 30, 2005, 6:05 AM
He never added it.

LMich
Dec 30, 2005, 6:18 AM
Yes he did. It was either in the pending approval diagram. Either that, or I'm confusesd by his English and the diagram awaiting approval was actually fully drawn by him. He had submit one yesterday that did look like a photo.

Virtue
Dec 31, 2005, 3:12 PM
@Lmich

The one you are talking about is already deleted.

The final one I submitted is drawn by me, by going over that photo. It should be OK, as there is nothing left from the actual photo!?

James Raymond
Dec 31, 2005, 5:58 PM
No, that's not allowed, either. It must be a completely original drawing. Photos can only be used to see what the building actually looks like - not to draw over or submit as a portion of the actual diagram.

Taylordaman
Jan 1, 2006, 12:41 AM
Really? I've done what Virtue's done before. You can't use it for an outline or for eye dropping the color? I've done all those things.
