Thought I would try a new house. This time, I'll create it's own thread so it doesn't clog my main collection thread. like the other house

So, this house will be based on the FallingWater, and will be apart of nature. Its materials will be nature based, like bamboo and stone flooring, granite countertops, and pure wood cupboards, but at the same time, the house will be modern with lots of features. I want the house to let a lot of light in, so there will be lots of windows.

Things this house will include:

Two fireplaces- One on the first floor and one in the Master Bedroom

Huge windows with nice facades on it

Three Balconies- Two on the 2nd floor and 1 on the third floor

Three floors

One Terrace

One main skyroof and one small skyroof.

One Library and Den

Three or four bedrooms- 1 guest room

Two family Rooms, one dining room, big kitchen, and lots more!

So, here is the dining room, it has one small window at the end, but there is a huge window behind it where the library or den will be. This is not the final render since the roof isn't even on the 1st floor yet.

Update!

Here is the living room on the first floor. The flooring is a shinier stone with the walls being stone and a paint of the color brown. It has a built in fireplace with a window beside it. The lights come inside the facade on the ceiling as it has openings on the top.

First im sorry for your loss!

I somehow missed your new renders:rolleyes:

I like the Kitchen, especially the window. You might rethink the floor material in both, kitchen and living room. It looks somewhat strange to me ;)
Then you could try to set the lights above your ceiling in the living and make it semitransparent. That way it would really look like if the light comes from above, not from spots directly in the ceiling :)

Thanks! I'll take them in consideration! The only reason why the flooring looks wierd is that I added too much specular and added a bit too much bitmapping to them.

Thanks! I am somewhat basing this house on FallingWater, so that's good to hear.

Anyways, here is a new render. It is a photo of the living room with moon seats!

My only recommendation would be to increase the width, it looks very narrow.

There's some good ideas in this model. It really has a "nature" feel. The windows and overall mood is great! In the kitchen you could model the cabinets instead of using a low-quality texture. That would increase the photorealism a lot. Also the renders are quite dark. Maybe you could increase the exposure a bit.

I think you're progressing really well on the Sketchup-Kerkythea path!

Thanks! I've been thinking of modeling the cuboards too, so, i think I will.

Anyways, here is a childern's playroom tht can be turned into a extra bedroom. This is on the second floor, I still have lots of thing to do on the first, but I wanted to get started on the second floor.

nice to see you going into smaller more detailed models!

do you plan/doodle your plans beforehand or go along? i usually grab small pieces of paper but i've found it difficult to predict the scale of a room in small doodles. i understand and measure but once it's in the model it ends up a bit different than what i intended.

Thanks!

Yes, I drew plans for this house.

I usually draw the elevations and the floorplans on a sheet of graph paper, but as the same as you, it ends up different then what I wanted.

So, here is a picture of the guest bedroom of the house. This bedroom has its own private balcony looking to the woods with french doors, and it has its own sitting area beyond it.

The Master Bedroom of the House! It has its own private balcony!

I should get to exterior renders in about a half month.

I still need to model:

*Master Bedroom Bathroom

*Library on 3rd Floor

*Upstairs and Downstairs Bathroom

*Movie Room/ Game room with skyroof

*Landscaping

*Garage

Looks very good  But you should really enlarge your windows for more daylight and better outside views ;)

Definitly right

But i would think about seperating the toilet from the rest of the master bath ;)

Bathroom looks good because it has good light but the other rooms are
too dark for me.I would recommend doing more open plan and getting
rid of the cold stone. You should try putting in some large windows(floor to
ceiling) to see some nature outside.Remember you have all the space in the world for your rooms.....just some ideas....let in the light.
