Great value for my two picks, Lunch could be had for as little as $2.50. Go for the sandwich.

For a sandwich either Starski Poliski on north side of Barton one block east of Sherman. About $5 for a double meat packed sandwich on rye with a chuck of Kibossa and a pickle and a Polish fudge. Good for 2 meals.
Some go to Springers meats on Industrial Parkdale good deli and sandwich.
For a hot burger and fries around $5 at the Come by Chance on Melvin and Walter with a cheap draft.
I still prefer Bonanza. Check out the vehicles from the hospital, city, fire and locals at lunch hard to park but well worth it. Mixed sub $2.50 on a fresh baked panini roll:tup:
