The Yanan Elevated Expressway is a good vantage point to quickly view a fair percentage of Shanghai's skyscrapers in the Jingan, Luwan and Huangpu districts. As one can see, Shanghai’s architectural styling in all over the map.

From the space port like Radisson Hotel in the New Shanghai International Tower above to the photo below with the pseudo Chrysler like building, Lippo Plaza to the south of the expressway.

Below is a photo of the Shimao International Plaza followed with Capital Land. The building to the far right, the Haitong Securities Building kind of reminds me of a nicely spilt green onion.

In the next photo below is the Renmin (People’s) Square iconic skyscraper, Tomorrow Square at center.

In the next photo, note the twin mid rise structures with holes in the midsection of the building (from this vantage point, only visable on one of the two buildings). Kind of reminds me a little of the Waikiki Landmark on Kalakaua but from the selection of the exterior materials selected and overall geometric design, more aged, industrial in appearance and much less graceful.

Last photo, looking towards the Bund with the Pearl of the Orient and Bund Center (a.k.a. Westin Hotel) with its signature lotus flower top just visible to the right.
