I saw this notice on a easle in the Dartmouth ferry terminal this morning.. some sort of an open house this Thursday (Mar 26) from 5-8pm. Various people will be there representing things such as the Downtown Dartmouth Business Corp, HRM By Design, officials with the Alderney Landing geothermal heating project, and a whole list of other groups or individuals presenting. List was too long, those were the only three that stood out. I cannot find any information on the HRM website...

I remember them doing this last year. I'm surprised I haven't heard an advertising for it.

Is the Alderney thing like a "Town Hall" meeting where you just go to get updates on news in the community and whats in the plans?

It says open house, so I would say no.

I managed to memorize a few more of the groups who will be there:

Waterfront Development Corp (talking about things like the Dartmouth waterfront trail, Shubie canal, the mural project)
NSCC waterfront campus
HRM planning dept.
The HRM bicycling/bike path people (forget what they're called)
