I'm not sure if this is in the right section so please move it if it should be in Suburbs. Copied from the Development Rumors Thread:

Found a report on this: Cases 01009, 01010, 01011 (http://www.halifax.ca/commcoun/hecc/documents/HECCCase01009.pdf)

Simply put its 194 townhouses and 244 condos in three five-storey buildings and one six-storey building. It is being done in two development agreements because the six-storey building requires a rezoning so it has its own agreement. The properties are targeted for seniors and first-time buyers with the developer requesting assisted-living status for one or two of the condo buildings. The condo buildings will be made of brick, and concrete. They have already provided a park. The road nework is a loop (Nadia Dr) with the townhouses fronting this street and the condo buildings behind (next to Victoria Rd). The six-storey building will have a driveway onto Windmill Road (at Nootka Dr). The W.M. Fares Group (the Trillium is another one of theirs) is behind this project as well.

The buildings aren't anything special but it is a good infill project for a part of town that should of been filled in a long time ago.

Since we know a lot about this project can someone create a thread for this project. I'm too tired right now.
Hopefully that will initiate a drive to clean up Windmill Road in that area, with possibly some new commercial development. Add to that improvements of the roads and interchanges around Princess Margaret Blvd, it might just make Shannon Park that much more enticing for a new stadium with some commercial and parkland space.

I managed to get a half decent picture of this coming across the MacKay. Sorry about the dirt on the window though. No sign of the apartment buildings yet;

Banc Properties has a number of developments taking shape in HRM.

At the Trinity-Harbourview site in North Dartmouth, valued at about $85 million, some of the 194 townhouses to be built are ready for occupancy. The company is finalizing details on construction of 220 condominium units, Mr. Halef said.

Trinity-Harbourview is located on 24 acres between Victoria and Windmill roads and is aimed at first-time buyers and people looking to downsize.

Banc Properties is asking HEMDCC for an extension on the development agreement timeline for the apartment buildings in this neighbourhood. Apparently one of the three is already UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Here's the site on bing maps bird's eye view (looks like it's a couple of years old, though as there are now townhouses on Nadia Drive):

There was some excavation happening on the ocean facing hillside last week. It is possible that's what they meant by "under construction"

The second condominium building for this project received its construction permit last month. Pictures are going to be near impossible to get since it is at the interchange but if it's anything like its predecessor I'm not interesting in taking photos anyways.
