I think one of the obvious choices would be the Fox Tower. IMO, this is the best tower in the city. We'll have to wait and see how PAW turns out.

Another personal favorite, and underrated building, is the Peter O. Kohler Pavilion.

Actually, I've always liked the Weatherly at the Morrison bridgehead for its simple and classy, old Portland feel and its unchallenged position on the eastside (especially at night when its crown is lit up):
