I also love developers like these guy's and Charlesfort that don't treat the price list like it is a state secret...

The more I look at it, the more I like it. In terms of how a residential street can be intensified with a building that blends with its surroundings, this is as good as it gets. The detail on the building is nice to look at as well. And they have appropriately edged the property with a short retaining wall to give the sidewalk definition and provide a small semi-private space between sidewalks and ground-level balconies. This may well be the shape of things to come in the post-war suburbs that have big lots and are close to ready for more density.

Yep.. don't mind this at all. Nice.
This is great infill. Sad there can't be more like this centrally, with the three-storey being the podium for a tower. It's sad that downtown's experience with height is so often so badly done. Still, this project is just what inner suburbs need.

This part of Overbrook has been an infill-magnet for many years. It's close to downtown, and there hasn't been much resistance to replacing the existing no-so-heritage housing stock. Just look at all the newer condos and apartments in this small area alone:
