Feels like Jasper BC out there today for some reason...

Great shots... so creepy! haha

I love how Hamilton can be Urban & Natural at the same time!!

One great place to witness this is along the Rail Trail behind Stinson. You can be enjoying a nice nature walk with trees, shrubs, birds chirping, etc... then all of a sudden a freight train will roll by covered in Graffit... two mins later, beautiful nature! haha

What a crazy city we have! Thanks, Coalmine!

The Hamilton area's physical beauty is really unmatched you know--for those of you living in that area--cherish it.

The tagging by the way, just about made me vomit. Otherwise, the pictures are incredible and truly give the area it's due in terms of beauty and diversity of terrain. No matter where I go, I always miss Hamilton's topography, lust ravines and the way quiet solitude can exist amidst the city.

I'm not sure if this is good or bad, but those pics remind me of Mont Royal in Montreal.

Looking south up James Street in Hamilton has always reminded me of looking up at Mount Royal from Downtown Montreal.

Stunning pics. My parents nearly bought a condo in the stone mansion there in the mist, but they were afraid that the slate roof was going to be too expensive to repair, so they ended up in Ancaster. Where did I go wrong?
