I mean what does it take to get a freaking tunnel built in this city. First its the plan and then councillors start back-tracking. Maybe we should have a "wear a spoon" campaign to say that we want a tunnel and we want it now - and we will build it ourselves if we have to. :D So, maybe you should start by sending your councillor a spoon and wear one in support.

Do you think this might catch on?

If we have to dig the tunnel ourselves...sure I'm in under one condition:

We are absolutely not digging this thing with spoons! :P

It could be an interesting citizen's photo op to stage some sorta ceremonial "average citizens starting the tunnel themselves because the city is taking too long" hole digging at Lebreton somewhere. Dig a small hole for the cameras as a sorta protest....

If the wheels start to fall off this plan I'm definately in. I'm getting really frustrated with our council and their constant indecisiveness!

Ditto.

We could also promote SSP and say what we've been saying for months and hopefully knock some sense into the general public.

Hahahaha, Kitchissippi, do you work for a publicity firm? Your designs are absolutely gorgeous.

:previous: Thanks. I'm self-employed and quite a bit of my work deals with graphics and maps. I have one of those restless minds and when an idea pops in to my mind I have to draw it out no matter how stupid it is, otherwise it nags at me. Luckily, a lot of the graphics software makes it really quick sketch things down.

What program do you use? Adobe indesign?

Add another version in French though. "Jus creuser ca" maybe? But, I think my French is off.

Here you go (http://www.cafepress.com/kitchissippi) :) I added some red to it to make it punchy.

I've always been curious about setting up something like that, I didn't realize it was so easy. BTW, I didn't mark up in any of those items so there's no profit in it for me.

In my crystal ball I foresee the Slater/Albert transit stops getting sticker bombed.

Thanks, when I'll get a bit more money, I'll buy buttons for people to wear on their backpacks. I think it would be the best way to do it.

If you want to post information on ottawatransit, just go ahead. I didn't add much in the last months.

Don't forget that Ottawa Transit was built as a site to voice people's opinions, so you're all entitled to write stuff on the webpage. You'd be amazed at the traffic it brings.

I'm thinking of sending a t-shirt to Larry O'Brien. What size do you think he wears?
