From my experience, most people in Wuhan are usually quite laid-back and friendly. They are known to be very hot-tempered though.

Yantze River at Qingshan

Qingshan is Wuhan's base of Heavy Industry. Almost everyone living here seems to be connected to "Wuhan Steel" (aka "Wugang" / "WISCO") or one of its' countless subbranches in some way. As there is not so much (cityscape-wise) interesting to see here yet, I am only posting a view pics of the Qingshan riverside and its' gigantic new bridge under construction...

It's extremely cool to see all those quality pictures of Wuhan(A city which is not much represented here.)
Maybe a silly question but do you live in Wuhan? It seemed like you knew where the construction was going on etc.

Anyway, this thread don't get enought attention. It was by randomnes I clicked on the Asia-Pacific section, now I'am glad I did. I'll try to visit it more often. :)

Glad u like the thread. Adressing ur question: Well, I do not exactly live in Wuhan now, but I did so for more than a year back in 2005/2006. As my wife is from Wuhan I am still going there every year. So, I guess I am quite familiar to the city.
