Wow, I don't think I had noticed a photo of the completed Telus building yet. Nice.

That area of Ottawa is starting to/and will look very nice in the coming years. Lots of nice shiny enw buildings going up. Too bad they aren't taller. :(

I like it! Stylish, yet respects its surroundings. Looks like you have some good urban design out there.

It's a great addition to that corner and really accents the newly redeveloped Bank streetscape. Now let's continue this trend South down Bank.....and past my new residence at Mondrian!

I went by there today and noticed that all of those wires crossing the intersection have been buried. Looks like they're doing the same for all of the intersections all the way to Wellington.

A real step up from the usual Centretown crud.

Looks like there's a new restaurant on the ground floor now, next to Second Cup - businesslunch.ca or fast lunch or something was written on the window... can't remember exactly what it was.

They should have built it 12 storeys or more...and besides that, there have been many pilot project failures with Telus at work lately...wonder what that will do for them for business in the future...

Nice looking, especially with the curving facade.

Next step - get rid of that parking lot and fugly blank wall with Broccolini's 16 storey (http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=140291) proposal.

Just digging in my archived photos... this is what used to be at the Telus site on March 21, 2006 (a week after I moved here).

I know this building has been done for a while, but I didn't think anyone had it seen from this vantage point. It'll look different/ be dwarfed by The Slater when it's done.

The grey always seemed a bit drab to me, but I like the wave-like façade. It makes it one of the more interestingly-shaped buildings in Ottawa

Awesome shot, easily the best I've seen. I like this building. It reduced the impact of that nasty Bell facade and The Slater will complete the cover.

I think it's a waste of space. Would have been better in Little Italy or Centretown.

Because the wave is similar to the wave on the building in Little Italy?
I feel that it kind of fits in with what's on Catherine Street. But I do like the idea of having it downtown, surrounded by quite tall towers for some contrast.

I still like it enough though.

I like the wave, the colour and this building but just wish it was a lot taller. At 8 floors it doesn't have as much as an impact as it should have.

We all wish it would have been a lot taller, but it's still a cool building none the less!

That's part of it, yes. Similar style to Preston Square.
