Boulder deserves it's own thread!

Some shots from my recent trip out to Denver. I was actually staying in Boulder, so I took the opportunity to spend a few days walking around. I was planning on putting a few Boulder shots in my Denver pics, but to be honest, Boulder deserves it's own thread.

For some reason, I just fell in love with Boulder. Not even the hippies could dissuade me from jiving on Boulder.

Very walkable, and almost everyone I met was into outdoor sports. There were more bikes parked downtown than cars, and the pedestrian mall was great in scale and activities.

If you get a chance, go to Boulder, you'll love it.

Oh yeah, I had a REALLY hot sushi chef one night. That right there tells you it's a quality city.

This is the entrance to the pedestrian mall. It continues for BLOCKS of really cool retail and restaurants. Easily my favorite thing about Boulder. From the looks of all the people down there at night, it's the natives favorite thing as well...

I found a pretty decent sushi place (for the middle of the country!). I tried getting a sneak pick of my really hot sushi chef, but I wasn't able to get the shot without being too obvious...Oh well.

...and DU probably comes out ahead in some areas. They haven't had sports rivalries since they knocked down that big concrete slab for football and as we know CU doesn't play hockey. Go "Hilltopper's"!

I believe that DU (my school) and CU are rivalriesI went to CU and never heard of any sort of rivalry with DU. I suspect if anything it's a matter of all schools in Colorado wanting to stick it to the state's flagship university.

Out of charity to the state we have deigned to accept Colorado State as secondary rivals after Nebraska. The rest of you are not on our radar screen. ;)
