otherwise, i advice you to start this trip with shimen boom, after baling(巴陵) and lala mountain, but "ming chi" is already in yilan county. at the end you get back to taipei by bin-hai route(濱海公路)。

our new bungalow, all in cypress wood like in alps. it was magical. if you 'd like spending a week in mingchi mountain village, always ask the bungalows which are on the last rank at highest place of the complex. the other ones suck a bit...
