Very nice! It's really striking how impressive the Perimeter skyline has become, too.

jeff - awesome as usual! there's something about your perspective and use of lighting/exposure that makes your pics exceptionally cool. your accessibility to key locations certainly helps too.

damn, joe - these are amazing. i especially liked number 3, that's definitely a vantage point i've never seen before.

i never made it around to coming down, it was going to be this very week actually but things just came up...

Can you please take a picture from where W. Paces Ferry crosses 285 in Vinings/Smyrna? You can see all of Buckhead and Atlanta from there and I've been tortured by the fact I don't have a panoramic camera every time I drive by there.

Is that Aqua on the left with the butt ugly base facing Plaza? Man oh manischewitz, that's not right.

I think all of those base sides are interior-block facing. I don't know if they're zero-lot-lined or not (I'm inclined to think they are, because the deck otherwise might have open-air sections), but in any case, as the rest of the block is (re) developed, it'll all be hidden, obscured by other parking garage bases.

Thanks everyone for the compliments, really appreciated. I will work on another 'skyline' edition for later this summer from some new vantage points.

Thats too risky, u'd block traffic too long to survive to post it online. You can get the same view from the parking garage at Overlook (whatever the building is called) on top of Mount Wilkinson. I'd do it but, my camera doesn't have panorama assist.

I have attempted that several times in the past and have been escorted off the property each time. I know another location but it too will require permission. I will continue working on options for each location. I have some daytime views from a similar location along the same ridge line but no night shots yet. They are not in a panorama format but i will post them later anyway.

Picture # 4 of the King and Queen Towers are awesome. While not the tallest in Atlanta (coming in between 560-590 feet I believe) they are both icons for the 285 perimeter. Unusual to have buildings that tall ten miles out of downtown and certainly a statement.

Those two towers would look great in the downtown areas of many southern cities like Nashville, Charlotte, and B'ham.
