Hmmm.. I consider the Fords a part of downtown.

Winnipeg's downtown has many distinct areas. The Forks is the jewel of downtown, where people come to meet, relax and enjoy life.

I believe that's Sask. Landing provincial park, located on the shores of Lake Diefenbaker. North of Swift Current and between Regina and Saskatoon

here's a link (http://www.se.gov.sk.ca/saskparks/ParkInfo/parks/Park.asp?park=saskatchewan%20landing)with more info and pics

I must say, those pics of the nature in Sask are really nice, but the whiteshell just 2 hours away from Winnipeg has a lot to offer, nevermind Winnipeg only being like 5 hours away from Kenora. Now thats a great place for the cabin. Lake of the Woods is great.

Yeah Lake of the Woods is extremely beautiful.

Winnipeg is extremely fortunate to be so close to so many great beaches. I also think Paticia Beach is absolutely beautiful.

Can't forget Winnipeg Beach .. aka Falcon Beach for all you TV viewers.

Grand Beach is amazing, rated one of the nicest fresh water beaches in the world, but busy on those warm summer weekends.

Oh I can't wait for summer!!!! :D

my family has a cabin right around whiteshell and its a preaty dramatic chandge in landscape from the flat red river valley to the canadian shield, and it usually takes me like an hour and 40 minutes to get to the white shell area, .....without speeding

for the most part mantioba and saskatchewan are preaty similar geographicly speaking exept for the northwesternly most area of saskachewan which is apartly similar to just north of thunder bay
