That hole does not look very big UNTIL you see the little people in it.

Big tower. Interesting design, but I am not sure I am in love with it.

That looks like a small 1 story house right next door. can you imagine the construction headache of a 1250 footer right next door to your house

That was an old restaurant called "La Casa del Marisco".
They already moved to a new place, last week.

The "house" will be demolished in order to construct the Waters Tower. Will be 74 floors / 245 mts. tall.

very nice tower. In the renderings they always make it look like the towers stand alone. But in reality these two will be side by side right? Thats a powerful combination.

very nice tower. In the renderings they always make it look like the towers stand alone. But in reality these two will be side by side right? Thats a powerful combination.

That's right.

And the third tower will be Arts Tower (75 floors, 250 mts)

Arts Tower will be next to Waters Tower.
The correct order (left to right) = Arts Tower, Waters Tower and Ice Tower. Each one side by side.

impressive height, but not such a good design... i much prefer the other two towers

I think these three buildings will look great together, if built seperately, I think Ice tower would look a little strange, but all three together! Beautiful!

I would be thrilled and honored if something like these was built in Chicago, they are wonderfully different.

I don't like the design of Ice Tower but Waters is GREAT!!! Arts Tower is nice also.

Only one thing, this will not be the tallest residential tower upon completition.

Has anyone heard any news about Megapolis? Are the hotel units still priced at $130k or did they go to $150k? Is there any work on their site next to Decapolis Hotel?

Does anyone have a map showing where these towers will be within the city?

I like the laid-back attitude and friendly folks in most of central America. I've thought of buying property in Costa Rica but with all the development in Panama City I guess I should take a trip down to see it all!

and perhaps a wide picture of what the area looks like now. Not just the construction sites. And if Im not asking too much, anyone have a render of what the three would look like side by side. Thanks is advance

Does anyone else think this looks slightly ugly? Please correct me if you think im wrong but to me these renderings make me think that the architect took (at least 10) neo-classical skyscrapers and combined them into one cluster-f*#k. Anyone else????

I think all the designs are classy.....love what Panama is doing.....
does anyone have any information on the GC or contractors doing the work? Are they based in Panama or from other countries?

Any help would be appreciated.....

They took the signs out, because the space was needed.

I was wondering the same thing.

Well, there is the other option of a floating mat foundation...but I was under the impression that this was not exactly advised for a building on this stature. Is that assumption wrong? Correct?
