Happy Delaware Day everyone! Today marks the day that Delaware ratified the Constitution, making us the first state. Delaware is now 219 years old.
To celebrate Delaware Day, here are some pictures from around the state to give you a brief tour. Come see it in person some time!
The statue of Caesar Rodney in Wilmington's Rodney Square. Caesar Rodney raced through a stormy night on July 1, 1776 to cast the deciding vote for independence. His vote for independence swung Delaware in favor of independence and thus gave those colonies voting for independence unanimity.
