Kingston upon Hull

Kingston upon Hull is a city and unitary authority in the ceremonial county of East Riding of Yorkshire. It's located on each side of the River Hull at the Humber estuary.

This busy and important port city lies mostly at or below sea level, and is protected by the Hull Tidal Surge Barrier. Because of global warming, the city is at an increasing risk of a major flood.
