Gold Coast is a city and Local Government Area in the very southeast corner of Queensland on the Pacific Ocean, and the 6th largest city in Australia. It also has the country's 6th largest metropolitan area, and is the nation's 6th largest urban area. The Gold Coast is a large tourists destination, with many public beaches.
