Regina

Regina was named after Queen Victoria in 1882 and incorporated on June 19, 1903. Regina was proclaimed the capitol of the province of Saskatchewan on May 23, 1906.

The Royal Northwest Mounted Police was headquartered in Regina until 1920. The RCMP Academy (known as the Depot) is located in Regina and is respected world-wide. The RCMP Museum is also in Regina.
