Cape Town

Cape Town is the Administrative Capital of South Africa.

Cape Town is home to Table Mountain, a mountain with a very flat top. Off the coast of Cape Town is Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners were jailed for over two decades during the apartheid.

Cape Town has one of the most beautiful settings in the world, sandwiched between mountains and water. However, it is also very dangerous. Cape Point, also known as the Cape of Storms is home to hundreds of shipwrecks, mainly Dutch ships travelling from the Netherlands to the Dutch East Indies to get spices.
