Cromstrijen is a municipality on the Hoeksche Waard in the western Netherlands. The municipality was created on January 1, 1984, with the merging on the municipalities of Klaaswaal and Numansdorp. It is famous for having been heavily damaged by a flood in 1953, with the city since having rebuilt.
