Eberswalde

Eberswalde is a town in the Barnim district about 50 km northeast of Berlin. Up until the reunification of Germany, this town as a major industrial center. It is often called Waldstadt (forest town) because of the large forests that surround the town. The town contains both the settlements of Finow and Eberswalde.
