Description The largest palace in the world, and second largest building after the Pentagon measured by GFA (gross floor area). Similarly, the building measures over 2.55 million cubic metres in volume, behind Cape Canaveral's famed Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) and Quetzalcoatl's pyramid in Mexico.
The building's footprint is also large, 240m by 270m, representing approximately five city blocks and the basement contains four floors extending further below ground (92m) than the structure does above ground!
