• Orginally the Pantlind Hotel, family of famous local hoteliers, and was conceived to accommodate the large number of furniture buyers who frequented the city. The Amway Grand bought and renovated this building to add it to their hotel complex in 1981.
• In 1925, the Pantlind Hotel was ranked as one of the top ten in America.
