Description
Architect: Sir Benjamin Baker

Developer: Stewart, MacLaren and Dunn (A. D. Stewart, James M. MacLaren, William Dunn)

Proposed to be the tallest structure in the world at the time, 150 feet (45.7 m) taller than the Eiffel Tower.

Construction started but stopped when funds ran out. The structure only reached to a height of 47 m. It was demolished in 1907.
