• This 5-stars hotel building has already changed name and ownership several times:
- During construction the name was "The Summit Hotel" - (Changfeng Da Jiudian) with the name of the original developer, Summit PDC in Shanghai.
- Opened in fall 2005 as "The Regent" Shanghai.
- Now it's "The Longemont" Shanghai.

• The name of hotel is stamped in highlight metal simplified chinese characters in front of entrance, but some maintanance is required.
