Description This is the original design proposed in the early 70's.
The plans included a 3 storey shopping mall, 4 floors of offices, 300 hotel rooms on 12 floors, and a rooftop caberet on the 20th floor.
The original design was changed and the hotel was never added. If built it would have been the tallest building in downtown St. John's.
Atlantic Place was built in 1975 with an altered design and no hotel.
