Description Originally built as The Sheraton Center; the 310 room hotel had an auditorium, The Marker restaurant, and a 10,500 square foot ballroom.
Was the largest hotel in Charlotte from 1973 to 2003.
Was sold to and renovated by HBE Corp., in 1976 for $7.5 million.
The hotel was renamed The Adam's Mark and expanded to 613 rooms in 1984.
In 2005, an investor group announced plans to turn the hotel into a boutique hotel named The Blake.
