- In 2002, the State of Michigan renovated the building and renamed it Cadillac Place.
- This was the former headquarters of General Motors Company. In 1996, General Motors vacated their building, and moved into the Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit.
- Once, this was the largest office building in the world in terms of square footage.
