Description The main library of the University of California, Berkeley. Faces north. North side contains a giant reading room. Center of building, the "core" used to house stacks, now the stacks are underground and the core is just a giant empty 100x100x70 foot room. Every UC Berkeley architecture student has to draw this building literally dozens of time during their education.
