Cost was $6,000,000 US Dollars upon completion
The building plan allow all office spaces to have natrual light and views
The Institute of South African Architects awarded Safmarine House with the Award of Merit. It also received, in 1994, the Fulton Commendation from the Concrete Society of South Africa
The exterior facade is precast concrete cladding with flamed and polished granite at the base
The building is 53.5M from the tip of one wing to the tip of the opposite one
The excavations for Safmarine House revealed some porcelain from China and some earthenware from Staffordshire
The 22nd and 23rd floors are home to the roof terraces
The pyramid roof is at a 45 degree angle from the rest of the building
Rosa Duna granite, Rock Face granite and Rustenberg granite were all used on this building
