Description The original was built between 1585 and 1598. After a seige in 1615, it was rebuilt in 1620. The main tower burned down after being struck by lightning in 1665, and was not rebuilt until 1843. However, the castle was mostly destroyed once again during the Meiji Restoration in 1868. It was finally rebuilt in 1928, with an authentic facade but a modern interior.
