Started Construction: unknown, as military installation of Russian Navy. It is estimated in 1960ies.

Important facility for transmitting orders to submerged submarines of the Russian Navy in the VLF-range. Beside this, the facility is used for transmitting the time signal service RJH69 on frequencies between 20.5 kHz and 25 kHz.
