Description
Architect: Cesar Pelli & Associates Architects - pcparch.com

• This building became the tallest in Charlotte, and the tallest in the state of North Carolina upon its completion.

• The lobby contains three large frescos by artist Ben Long. Founders Hall, a large indoor public gathering space, as well as the North Carolina Blumenthal Performing Arts Center are attached to the tower.

• Formerly the headquarters of NationsBank, after the 1998 merger between San Francisco based Bank of America and NationsBank, Bank of America's name was used for the new company, but headquarters remained in Charlotte.
