Description
Architect: Welton Becket & Associates

• Arizona's tallest building since it's completion in 1972.

• The building was originally constructed for Valley National Bank and was known as the Valley Center until being acquired by Bank One in 1992. The building served as Bank One's headquarters and adorned their logo until merging with JPMorgan Chase in 2005. The logo was replaced with Chase Bank's logo until 2021 when it was removed after Chase Bank relocated their offices to nearby Tempe. The building has sat vacant ever since with future plans yet to be announced.

• A public observation deck originally occupied the 39th floor and featured a restaurant known as the Golden Eagle on the 37th floor. The deck closed in the early 1990's and the restaurant became the private Arizona Club from the 1980's to 2009.
