Description
• The Echelon Place Main Tower will include 3 large towers connected together. The 57 Story Western Tower and 43 Story Eastern Suites Tower will both be connected by the 29 Story Shangri-La Tower.
• The Echelon Place will be built on the current site of the historical Stardust Hotel & Casino. The Hotel Closed in November 2006, and both Towers where imploded in March 2007.
• Echelon Place will include a Resort & Casino, Shangri-La Hotel, a Hotel Suites Tower, a Mondrian Hotel, and a Delano Hotel. Echelon Las Vegas will also include a mall and a Convention Center.
• Construction started 2007 but was put on-hold in 2008 due to economic conditions. The project is expected to resume construction in late 2009 - early 2010.
