Description The tower, which stood originally at Sottens, where it carried together with a tower of same type a T-antenna for medium wave broadcasting was dismantled in 1958 and rebuilt on La Barillette mountain, where it served as FM- and TV-broadcasting tower for La Dôle transmitter.
The tower was demolished on May 24th, 2018 by explosives after a new broadcasting tower was erected nearby
