Description - This mast was the third Bielstein mast for WDR.
- The supertall mast collapsed on January 15th, 1986 after a guy wire fell from the tower compromising the support system.
- It was afterward replaced by a similar, but slightly taller, 302 metre tall guyed mast, which was then shortened to 290 feet in April of 2006 when the antenna was replaced.
