• Coordinates: 24°48'09''N, 141°19'31''E.

• As of 2006, this tower remains the tallest construction ever built in Japan.

• The LORAN-C mast collapased during maintence work in 1965. The collapse killed 6 people, and destroyed the entire transmission station.
