- Located at the Pacific Park Amusement Park which is on on the famous Santa Monica Pier.

- The Pacific Wheel is a ferris wheel powered by solar energy, it generates more than 71,000-kilowatt hours of renewable photovoltaic (PV) power from the sun's rays. On cloudy days, the wheel relies on conventional power.

- Santa Monica's Pacific Park Amusement Park is LA's only admission-free Amusement Park and is the West Coast's only Amusement Park to be located on a pier.
