Description Architect: HKS, Inc. - hksinc.com
General Contractor: Brasfield & Gorrie
Originally proposed as a $218.5 million project, around 2006, it later grew to a $450 million 420,000 square-foot tower in 2021. The project now includes a new emergency department with 90 private exam rooms, 40 new operating rooms, and a 28-room intensive care unit (ICU). It will replace an existing parking deck and will have a rooftop helipad.
This project will be constructed in two phases, resulting in a 12-13 storey building.
