• The name "Q1" is short for Queensland Number One.

• With the recent inclusion of the extented spire, it is now the World's tallest residential tower.

• Modifications to the podium level commercial space in November 2004 create better access to the tower and improve retail layout. The tower is 50m across its plan shape of concentric ellipses.
