Description Architect: Burnham Brothers
- The initials MDA are derived from the building's original name, the Medical & Dental Arts Building. Like several other buildings on North Wabash Avenue, it was built to house doctor and dentist offices.
- In 2003 the building began a $45 million conversion from an aging office building into a 200-unit apartment building.
- In addition to the residential units in the converted building, 9,200 square feet of retail and office space will be available
