In exchange for a density bonus, the developers of this project will make a roughly $640,000 donation to the city's affordable housing trust fund.
This project will include a new 7 story loft building fronting Michigan Avenue on the west end of the site. The 7 story midrise and 35 story highrise will share a podium base containing parking and 27,000 square feet of ground floor retail space.
This project was approved by the Chicago Plan Commission on Thursday November 17, 2005.
