- When the building opened in 1991 the Bank of America West Tower was called the Valley Bank Plaza and had a huge "Valley Bank" sign and logo on top.

- The reason the Bank of America West Tower has "West Tower" in its name is because it was designed to complement complement the original main Bank of America Tower located in downtown Las Vegas, which was also called the Valley Bank Plaza. They both look similar but the original one is a few floors taller.

- There is a live webcam from the top of the tower.
