Description
- Upon it's completion in 1957, this tower and adjoining complex was the most technologically advanced mill in the world.

- The structure was slated for demolition on December 3, 2005. The demolition failed after the explosives only caused the tower to collapse partially into it's basement.

- This is largely regarded as the tallest building in Sioux City and all of South Dakota.

- The land that this tower stands on is proposed to become a $15 million events center, and office and retail complex.

- The mill was closed in 2000.
