Description
- The (cheaply built) tower was built along with a 52 lane bowling center with a bar and snack restaurant, and a 90,000 square foot casino/race and sports books. The casino held 7 poker tables.

- The casino was abondoned in July 6th 1992, 325 people lost their jobs. For the next nine years the old casino sat there, deteriorating, finally in 2000 the tower was imploded.

- 4th casino to ever be built in Las Vegas, originally the site was the Thunderbird Hotel from 1948 to 1977, then Silverbird from from 1977 to 1982, and finally the El Rancho from 1982 to its demolition.

- Turnberry bought the place and tore the place down. In 2001, Turnberry announced a 44 story, 2047 room hotel "London Hotel and Casino" but never made it. In 2005, Krystle Towers, was supposed to be built in it place but was cancelled when Turnberry bought them out too. In The future Turnberry's 4,000 room Fontainebleau Las Vegas will soon stand in its place.
